MCR Development LLC (“MCR”), the seventh largest hotel owner-operator in the United States, today announced it has completed a renovation of the Hampton Inn by Hilton Bowling Green, a 130-room select-service hotel located minutes from numerous business and leisure demand generators in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the third largest city in the state. The renovation enhances the guest experience for business and leisure travelers alike, and offers a modern and comfortable environment for hosting corporate/family functions and special events.
Located off Interstate-65, a main travel artery in Bowling Green, the newly renovated hotel features a fully revamped breakfast area for guests to enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast buffet. In addition, the hotel added a state-of-the-art fitness facility complete with high-quality exercise equipment to enhance its appeal to the growing number of business and leisure travelers who visit Western Kentucky each year. The renovation also included installing modern light fixtures to the exterior of the property, which will complement a fresh paint treatment that will be applied in the coming months.
The renovation is part of MCR’s commitment to provide a high-quality and convenient staying option in the fundamentally strong market of Bowling Green, which is home to numerous business and leisure demand generators including Western Kentucky University, the state’s second-largest public university, and major national manufacturers Fruit of the Loom and the General Motors Assembly Plant, the source of all Chevrolet Corvettes built since 1981. Furthermore, the hotel is conveniently situated a short drive from the National Corvette Museum, Beech Bend Raceway and Barren River Lake and Resort.
Hampton Inn by Hilton Bowling Green was named a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award winner in 2016.
