
Tyler Morse is Chairman & CEO of MCR, which comprises four discretionary funds and is the 3rd largest hotel owner-operator in the United States. With $5 billion of assets under management, MCR owns and operates 150 hotels (over 25,000 guestrooms) across 37 states and is the developer of landmark properties such as the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport in New York City and the BT Tower in London.
Tyler is also Chairman of Stayntouch, a digital property management system, and Chairman of Optii, a hotel operations software solution. He is on the Board of Directors of Wright Bedding, an innovative American-made mattress and bedding manufacturer, and on the Board of Directors of Ocra, a centralized management platform for parking operators.
Tyler is on the Board of Directors of Swansea City AFC, a Welsh professional football team that competes in the Championship level of the English Football League.
Tyler serves on the Board of Directors of the American Hotel and Lodging Association and on the Executive Committee of New York City Tourism + Conventions. He also serves on the advisory board of New York University’s Tisch Center of Hospitality and on the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
Tyler is an active member of the Industry Real Estate Financing Advisory Council (IREFAC), Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) and The Real Estate Roundtable. He serves as a Trustee on the board of Prep for Prep.
Tyler graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and Harvard Business School.
