MCR Development LLC (“MCR”), one of the largest hotel owner-operators in the United States, is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed a comprehensive renovation of the 105-room Courtyard Corpus Christi located at 5133 Flynn Parkway in Corpus Christi, Texas. The renovation involved a major redesign of the hotel’s guestrooms, lobby, bistro and public areas to enhance the overall guest experience.
The newly designed lobby features a transitional design and sophisticated color palette with warm tones to create an inviting and relaxing environment. Guests are empowered to stay connected, productive and balanced through the use of GoBoard® technology, an interactive touch-screen with weather, news, and directions to surrounding attractions and restaurants.
In addition, the hotel features a newly constructed Courtyard Bistro® and evening bar that features casual, café style seating where families or colleagues can gather and enjoy a conversation, meal, or specialty beverages, such as Starbucks® coffee.
The freshly renovated guest rooms include soft, tone-on-tone interior decor and a sculptural design, allowing the space to feel light and natural. Guest bathrooms were also modernized with the addition of granite countertops and new showers and now include Paul Mitchell products.
The upgrades at Courtyard Corpus Christi are part of MCR’s strategy to drive RevPAR growth through its ongoing renovation program.
Courtyard Corpus Christi is conveniently located adjacent to the Texas Route 358 traffic corridor and minutes away from the Corpus Christi International Airport, the Corpus Christi Naval Air Base, and the historic USS Lexington. The hotel is also a short drive from popular travel and leisure destinations including the Texas State Aquarium, Mustang Island State Park and Padre Island.
