MCR Development LLC (“MCR”), the seventh largest hotel owner-operator in the United States, today announced it has completed a renovation of the Hampton Inn by Hilton Troy, an 82-room select-service hotel located minutes from numerous business and leisure demand generators in Troy, Alabama, a vibrant city just south of Montgomery. The renovation enhances the guest experience for business and leisure travelers alike, and offers a modern and comfortable environment for hosting corporate/family functions and special events.
Located off US Highway 231 South, a main travel artery in Troy, the newly remodeled hotel was updated as part of Hampton by Hilton’s “Forever Young Initiative,” a multi-pronged program that focuses on updating guestrooms, bathrooms and case goods, as well as modernizing the exterior curb appeal of properties. As such, all guestrooms and bathrooms now feature new and modern furniture, lighting and amenities. This renovation further complements other upgrades that were recently completed at the hotel, which include a redesigned lobby and restaurant, as well as the addition of an HD-television and technology upgrades in the business center. Furthermore, new stonework and LED lighting will be added to the exterior of the property in the coming months.
The renovation is part of MCR’s commitment to provide the growing number of travelers who visit Southeast Alabama each year with a high-quality and convenient staying option in proximity to the area’s numerous demand generators, including Troy University, ranked by Forbes Magazine as a top 20 “best buy” in higher education, the City’s historic district, with more than a dozen antebellum homes and a restored downtown square, the Pioneer Museum of Alabama and the Troy Sportsplex, which hosts a variety of athletic competitions each year.
