MCR Development LLC, the seventh largest hotel owner-operator in the United States, today announced it has completed a renovation of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston Intercontinental Airport, a 134-suite extended stay hotel located at 4015 Interwood North Parkway in Houston.

The hotel’s lobby and guest suites were modernized with calming wall tones, new tables and carpeting, and updated with all new soft seating, including chairs and sofas. A communal table with power outlets and USB ports was installed in the lobby for guests to charge their mobile devices, and the front desk was revamped to better serve guests’ needs. Additionally, the marketplace was completely redesigned and the fitness center now features all new exercise equipment including free weights, elliptical machines, stationary bicycles and treadmills with personal TVs.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston Intercontinental Airport is located just four miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and offers business and leisure travelers high quality extended stay accommodations and top-notch amenities. The hotel is located near some of the area’s core businesses, including Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Schlumberger, and Siemens and close to local attractions such as Splashtown Water Park, Sam Houston Race Park and Deerbrook Mall. All guest suites feature separate living and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchens and 32-inch flat screen TVs. Hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a jogging and fitness trail, a grilling pavilion and free high speed internet.
